During preadolescence and adolescence, the tween and the teen brains are powered up with about a billion new neurons. This tremendous brainpower makes them extremely reactive and creative. A stage is laden with new skills, new experiences, new relationships, new milestones shape their writing voice. However, this stage is both volatile and vulnerable.

WORDPLAY provides them an encouraging and nonjudgmental space to dream and create. The creative curriculum of the workshops which are mostly interdisciplinary goes beyond the mechanics of writing.
